I got a chance to look at the list. Some of the movies listed I haven't seen and I don't want to spoil it for you if you haven't seen the list yet so I'll just give you a "taste" of whzt's on the list.

Yuck! Someone Was Flirting With Me!

Ever go out somewhere and you're kind of in a rush and you know that you don't look your best? You figure no one is going to mess with you right? Well it turned out to be wrong on this particular day. I was outside waiting for a ride and a man who was working on someone's house saw me and wanted me to come over to talk to him. I figured he wondered what I was doing just standing out there and I was going to explain to him that I was waiting for a ride. Well that wasn't what he wanted to talk to me about. He was telling me how "attractive" I looked standing there and he said he liked my breasts! Well I have to admit that if there is one thing about me that is noticeable it is that I am definitely NOT flat-chested! Now I wasn't wearing anything provocative but it was hot outside but I was just wearing a simple, short sleeve blouse. Now the blouse was kind of clingy because it was made out of some kind of knit material but I did not "feel" attractive at all - much less thinking that I looked attractive! Well he proceeded to tell me how "nice" I looked and if I ever needed any work done that maybe we could come to some kind of "arangement". Well I just did not feel that I was even "attractive" enough to be even having this kind of conversation and really the whole thing was turning me off. It could have also been that I was just in a "pissy" mood because it was so hot outside and my ride hadn't come yet. But this was not the kind of conversation that I wanted to be having. He was an older man and had a little bit of an accent. I tried to politely get away from him and thank goodness my ride came. But "yuck" all the same. Not because of the man really - its just that I wasn't in the mood. Now probably when I AM in the mood no one will flirt with me!

While I have heard a lot about Myspace I really don't want to join because I'm a member of so much now and its hard keeping track of everything now. But since I'm not a member I can't post a comment to the blog so I added a link to it here. I Am My Own Worst Enemy!

I have seen this appear a couple of times in my horoscope and I would have to agree with it. I can conjure up all sorts of things in my mind - both good and bad - but for the most part they are mainly bad. I think of the most worst situations and in reality they hardly ever come to pass. Why can't I just think positively? I do try to do that but its like there is this constant battle between the good thoughts and the bad thoughts - with the bad thoughts usually winning. I definitely have to work on this more!

I just recently saw this movie the other day. I am a sucker for romantic movies and I'm more of a sucker for accents! They just drive me crazy! This movie has a whole lot of storylines - 8, I think to be exact - about love. The movie also has Alan Rickman - in a nice casual kind of role where he's not the bad guy (almost), Colin Firth who is just gorgeous! and it has Hugh Grant in a role where he is not playing a cad! It also has great looking (and nice-bodied) Liam Neeson - all gorgeous guys! I was probably watching the movie mostly because of the men! But I got that the meaning of the movie (and it said so in the opening scene) is that Love is Actually All Around!

Heat!

About the only kind of heat that I like is the heat of passion (-; The weather is getting so much warmer now and I'm thinking about my hair and I'm thinking about sweating! I hate when I sweat! When the weather gets hot and humid I sweat even more! Sometimes I think that I sweat more because I worry about sweating more! There's this old comedic joke about how black people hate hot weather and I know that this black person hates the hot weather! I'm more of a fall/autumn, wearing a jacket kind of girl. So as the weather is getting warmer and more hotter and more humid I must find ways to keep myself cool!

I Was Supposed To Wash My Hair Today

Had a lot of other stuff to do today so I really didn't get around to doing it. Sometimes I just dread it and put it off as much as I could. But you know what happens when you don't wash your hair? It starts to itch and then it starts to itch real bad! And since I got this "not too happy with it" perm I'm hoping the perm I gave myself will fare better after I wash it! What kind of shampoo do I use? Pantene! It's one of the most expensive shampoos there is but I like the way it smells and it just makes my hair feel clean! When I don't have enough money to buy the Pantene I resort to the Johnson's Baby Shampoo that I can usually get for around 99 cents! But if I can manage it I buy the Pantene which should last me about a month and a half. But for now I have the Pantene - now I just have to wash my hair!

The Hair Thing

Well this wasn't one of my better perms but I'm stuck with it for the next three months. I shouldn't have bought the one on sale. Instead I should have gotten the one that I alwyas do! Well like they say "that's just the way it goes". At least my hair is sweating out with the hot weather so I should be very grateful for that! I have never been one for wearing wigs. They are so hot and even more so in the warmer weather. For now I'll just usually wear my hair in a ponytail or just put on a cap and be on my way! Hope nothing fancy comes up because I don't know what I'll do with my hair then!

A Hairy Subject

I don't like the way my hair sweats out during the warm weather so I perm it. I do it myself as opposed to getting it done because number 1 it'st cheaper and number 2 I just can't sit still. When I do it myself I can do other things besides. If you're not familiar with this process, perming my hair makes it straighter and more manageable so manageable in fact that I can just get out of bed and have the most gorgeous looking hair without having to do anything to it. Plus I can just put it in a pony tail to have a decent-looking hairstyle. I permed my hair today mostly because I have to go to a funeral and I know that its going to be hot. This perm will last me three months so I won't have to worry about it for a while. I have been doing this for many years now and I like the results that I get. I don't go in too much for the "newest" and latest hairstyles because I like the one that I have. I thought about getting a weave but so far I just don't want to go through the hassle and since I never had one before I don't know anything about how to maintain it. The whole process takes me about three hours but the results are worth it and like I said once it's done I don't have to worry too much about my hair for the next 3 months! I'm mostly a tomboy at heart but you should have seen me today with my blow dryer and hot comb. The only time I even use the hair dryer is when I perm my hair. It does make me feel "girly" though - (-; and I think the men like the results too!

You're Never Too Old To Have A Relationship!

In the past 2 days I have had conversations with people who have said that they don't think that they will ever have a relationship with someone. In one of the conversations the person tried to convince me of the same thing but I wouldn't hear none of it.

Personally I believe that one is never too old to have a relationship. People marry at all kinds of different ages! There's nothing wrong with wanting to be with someone you like and who just makes you feel good but you haven't found them yet. That doesn't mean that they aren't out there. It just means that you haven't found them yet.

I'm glad that I haven't given up on the notion of me being able to have a relationship just because I'm a certain age. If other people want to believe that then so be it! (But I know that it's not true).

If you're going to be down on yourself and constantly put yourself down, how will you expect anyone to like you?

I Gave Myself A Treat Today!

I LOVE seafood but I usually don't get it because I can't afford it. But while at the grocery store today I decided to buy some crab legs! I love them! If you ever wanted to seduce me with food then seafood would be the way to go! I haven't tried the other kinds of seafood like oysters although I heard that they are a great aphrodisiac.

Hopeless Romantic!

I saw "Starbucks" mentioned and my thoughts (or should I say fantasies) turned to romantic scenes of having a cup of coffee with with a man that I'm attracted to. Maybe I just watch too many romantic movies but you can have a lot of "romance" while having coffee at Starbucks - if it's with the right person. I wonder if he's attracted to me too. If he is he's not showing it or maybe I just don't see it. We talk, we have a nice leisurly conversation and some things come out that you wouldn't really come out in a normal conversation. I smile. He smiles. Where will it go to from here....... Like I said this is one of my romantic fantasies. It could happen though.

Cold Weather - Yuck!

I have never been a fan of cold weather! Today I stepped out to get some cigarettes and that cold wind hit my face and I didn't like it! Although one of my fantasies is being somewhere where its cold I'm inside a nice cottage being seduced by a fireplace and not outside freezing in the cold!

Headache!

Boy do I have a headache right now. (I suppose typing at the keyboard isn't helping too much). I know that it is a "stress" headache because I have some things on my mind and of course it is stressing me out! Any potential money slaves out there want to help and make my stress-filled headache go away?

Even Though I'm A Tomboy At Heart........

There are occassions when I like to get "girly". I was reminded of this when I found out that I had run out of my favorite perfume. I won't tell you what the name of it is but I will tell you that it is a musk perfume. For some reason "musk" perfume has always appealed to me. It sort of reminds me of that "animal attraction" kind of thing. It smells great and the scent gets stronger when you sweat and over-exert yourself. I call this my "seduction" perfume because I like to where it when I'm trying to seduce someone (or when I want someone to think that they are trying to seduce me). It's like I'm an "animal on the prowl!" So I'm out of it and I will have to definitely get some more soon!

I have this favorite perfume that I LOVE to wear. Its a musk perfune and it just smells so good! I always wear it when I want to seduce someone. It doesn't always work and when that happens I have to think of something else - but it happens more often than not! Sometimes I just wear it for fun just to see what happens..............
